For athletes 13 to 17
Your MiNT login
This is the short version of how MiNT treats your information when you have your own login, in plain words.
Last updated October 30, 2026
MiNT is for your team: your schedule, your coach's notes, and your player profile. No ads, no strangers, no selling your information.
How your login works
- You sign in with Apple or Google on your own phone. Your login works on up to two phones.
- A parent or guardian set it up for you, or will link to it. If you joined with your coach's team code, your login is read-only until a parent links: you see the schedule, and your coach's feedback waits for them. If no parent links within 30 days, your login is frozen, and 30 days later it is deleted.
- You need to be 13 or older. Kids under 13 can't have a login.
What MiNT keeps about you
- Your name, and your birth month and year (never the day).
- Your teams, the schedule, and whether you're going.
- Feedback your coach writes for you.
- Your player profile, if you fill it in: things like your position, number and a short bio. Grad year and height only from age 16, and only if you choose.
- Which phone you use and when you last opened MiNT, to keep your login safe.
What MiNT never keeps
Your weight, grades or test scores, school, town, home address, birthday, phone number, email address or social media handles. If you type one into your profile, MiNT won't save it.
Who sees what
- Your parents or guardians can see what you do in MiNT and everything on your profile, and can preview what you see. They can pause or remove your login.
- Your coach sees you on the team, your profile, and the feedback they write. When you ask to join with a team code, your coach sees your first name, last initial and age, never your birthday.
- Your team (teammates and their families) sees the profile items you share with the team. A change your team can see usually waits for a parent to approve it.
- Supporters are adults your parent adds, like a grandparent or a driver. They see only parts of your schedule, never your profile. You can see who they are and what each one sees, and ask a parent to remove one.
- Nobody else. Your profile isn't public, can't be shared outside your team, and doesn't show up in search.
What you won't find in MiNT
- No messages or chat with anyone, adults or other athletes.
- No photo or video uploads.
- No AI assistant on your login.
- No ads, likes, followers or view counts.
Notifications wait until morning between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m., unless a session starting soon changes.
If something feels wrong
In MiNT, open Menu, then Get help or report something. Or email support@mintassist.app. If you are in danger, call 911. If you are struggling, you can call or text 988 any time.
Deleting your login
You can ask to delete your login from the app at any time, and we delete it within 30 days. A parent can also remove it.
When you turn 18
Your login becomes your own adult account and your parents' controls end. You decide whether your parents can still see your team schedule. Nothing is picked for you, and if you don't answer within 30 days, sharing stops. You can change your mind any time. You also decide which supporters stay.
Questions
Email support@mintassist.app. You or your parent can ask us what we have about you, fix it, or delete it.
