Terms
Terms of Service
These are the rules for using MiNT: the iOS app and mintassist.app. They are short on purpose. By creating an account or using MiNT you agree to them.
Effective October 1, 2026
What MiNT is
MiNT is one app with two experiences. Coaches create and manage programs; the families in those programs automatically receive the schedule, attendance, feedback, photos, and updates the coach publishes. MiNT is new, so features will change, and some may be added or removed as we build.
Your account
- Give us accurate information and keep your sign-in method secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Accounts are for adults: coaches, parents and guardians, and family members they invite. Children under 13 may not create accounts.
If you are a coach
You control what your program publishes. By adding athletes, families, schedules, feedback, or photos, you confirm you have the permission you need, from the athletes' parents or guardians and from your club or school where required, to share that information with the families in your program. You can remove photos that others share to your program.
Your content
What you publish or upload stays yours. You give MiNT the license needed to store it and show it to the people in your program. That is the entire purpose of the product, and the license exists for nothing else.
Payments
MiNT displays payment status and links out to a coach's own payment provider. We are not a party to any payment between a family and a coach, we never hold funds, and payment disputes are resolved between the family and the coach.
Community standards
MiNT is used by families with children. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You may not post, upload, or share anything that is:
- sexual, violent, hateful, or otherwise offensive;
- bullying, harassing, threatening, or demeaning toward anyone;
- a photo or video of someone shared without the permission it needs, or anything that reveals private information about another person;
- spam, a scam, or misleading about who you are or your relationship to a program;
- illegal, or something you don't have the right to share.
Don't probe, scrape, overload, or interfere with the service or other people's data.
Reporting and blocking
Anyone can report a photo, video, update, piece of feedback, or coach from the options on it in the app, or by emailing support@mintassist.app. We review every report within 24 hours. When content breaks these standards we remove it, and we remove the account that posted it from the program or from MiNT. Coaches can also remove photos and families from their own programs.
You can block anyone whose content you see. You will no longer see their photos, updates, or feedback, on any of your devices, and we are told so we can review what they posted. You can unblock people in Settings.
The service is provided as-is
MiNT is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, so always confirm critical details (like a session time or location) with your coach.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MiNT and the people who build it are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us to use MiNT in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending an account
You can stop using MiNT and delete your account at any time from Settings, then Help, then Delete account in the app, or by emailing support@mintassist.app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put other users at risk.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will update this page and the effective date, and tell you in the app when the change is significant. Using MiNT after a change means you accept the new terms.
